It began with a macaron. It was cocoa tea flavoured to be exact. The feet were raised, the top was smooth and rounded and the center was the right amount of "chewy".
Perfection.
Anyway, I digress.
As I pined for another, I absent-mindedly began drawing a stack of macarons. This then evolved into a three page fiasco of illustrated desserts.

Fast forward a few days later, a magnificent pattern of heart- wrenchingly sweet things had been formed.
(My gift wrap is now also for sale btw... )
At that same time, I was working on a new project involving measuring cups and too much free time. I found a set of measuring cups that fit into one another forming a small tower and used each cup as a base for a candle. The scents I used were inspired by berry cobbler, vanilla custard and cherry pie. (Obviously my sweet tooth is insatiable)
For the packaging, I used the pattern that I had created a few days before as the background and worked from there.
Thus 1Cup8Oz was born. ( I thought the title was absolutely, hilariously witty... )

Pattern ft. the stack of macarons, a stack of doughnuts, a religieuse, a parfait, a raspberry tart,
strawberry cake, cherry pie and a fruit tart.
